Flight services have been expanded to service the Northernmost region of Nautilus. Irelandia Airline's Chief Executive Office, Captain Douglas Tragonach said, 'we have wanted to expand our flight services to the Northern airports and tour site... being here at Second Life International, allows us to offer faster connections to lots of locations." Capt. Tragonach and Antilaghi Regional owner JZander 'Jared' Resident officially opened the new Reservations Office. Capt. resident stated, 'he was glad to see your fine and well-respected airline, come here to SLNB."

New Look at New Horizons and Hollywood

With the expansion at New Horizons International Airport, our central Flight Operations Terminal has received a complete remodeling. An entirely new look has been designed with focus on passengers comfort and meeting their needs.
Our Flight Services Office, and our Hospitality Suite at Hollywood International will also be going through some minor decorative changes. We think passengers will enjoy their travel experience.', Irelandia's CEO and Chief Pilot Douglas Tragonach noted.

Airline First to Receive Exclusive Helicopter

During the 2011 Second Life Summer Aviation Festival being held at Yumix-Japan International Airport, Irelandia Airlines was honoured with the delivery of the latest redesign of the outstanding EC-145 Eurocopter from Tig Spijkers Aircraft & Marine. The new 'Mercedes-Benz' styled luxury helicopter was delivered exclusively to Irelandia Airlines, and was inaugurated into service on the first day of the event.
Capt. Douglas Tragonach the CEO of Irelandia commented, 'With the delivery of this new Eurocopter from our friends at Tig Spijkers Aircraft, our new expanded commuter services can really take off... we were fortunate to have contracted the first delivery of the EC-145, and honoured to be the first metaverse airline to have it's livery emblazoned on such a fine aircraft."

CEO Chosen for Ride in Last Shuttle Launch

While America's last launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis was going on, Second Life's own Last Shuttle was launching in sync with CAPCOM at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Organized to celebrate the end of an era in human spaceflight, the viewers at Avatrian central were wowed by the launch of the metaverse's Shuttle.Atlantis.
irelandia Airlines CEO, Douglas Tragonach was selected in a random drawing to be one of the final two Mission Specialist for the extraordinary event. Capt. Tragonach stated, " I was shocked when my name was called.. it was an amazing day, and an extraordinary way to mark the end of the Space Shuttle era." "It was a true honor to have been chosen, and make many new friends and fellow space enthusiasts."
Upon returning from their short journey, the Flight Crew answered questions from those attending, in front of the famous Countdown clock. Each member told of the wonders they had experienced, and how much they had enjoyed the flight.

This first look at Irelandia Airline's new ATR-600 regional airliner has been shown to a few members of the Metaverse press today.
The aircraft's new livery design by Kahlan Bingyi of EG Aircraft in France, commemorates the first State Visit to Ireland by a reigning British Sovereign in over 100 years, and the first since the foundation of the Republic of Ireland.

Metaverse Airline Celebrates First Year

Irelandia Airlines of Second Life has unveiled a newly painted aircraft livery, to mark its first anniversary celebrations. The newest addition to the fleet, an ATR-600 - EI-QE2, named 'Queen Elizabeth II', was painted especially for the anniversary celebrations and will be unveiled at a ceremony at the New Horizons International Terminal Building, Alphanubel, the 19th of July, 2011.
The latest addition to the Irelandia fleet is being named after The Queen in honour of the historic state visit to Ireland, earlier in May of this year. HM The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were the guests of an Uachtaráin (President) Mary McAlleese and the Irish nation.
Numerous persons will be speaking at the event, Irelandia CEO Douglas tragonach said: "2011 is a very special year for Irelandia as it marks the airline's 1st anniversary. Irelandia has grown to become a flag carrier with a metaverse-wide reputation for our professional and friendly staff, our high quality of executive services, value for money and continuous innovation. Throughout our first year we have carried out our mission of connecting the metaverse and the famous hospitality of Ireland with the regions of the Blake's Sea and Nautilus, but the entire metaverse, transporting hundreds of customers annually. We look forward to continuing to fly the 'knot' for many years to come."
On July 18th 2001 Irelandia launched its first ever flight between New Horizons and Hollywood Airport, with three passengers, on a four-seat Cessna 172 named 'St Brendan''. As part of the anniversary celebrations, the sister aircraft of the St Brendan has undergone a restoration project, meaning it is fully airworthy and will partake at celebratory events throughout the year.
In its inaugural year Irelandia operated three routes, carrying 108 passengers and employed a total of 2 staff. In the first half of 2011, its first full year of service, the airline carried almost 100 passengers, flying to over 18 routes - to 30 destinations and continues to provide employment to variety of staff.

New Pilot Named

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Trazpen Greymyst as Irelandia's newest pilot. Captain Greymyst matriculated through our Executive Flight Academy this past April, and comes with a wealth of aviation experience being a member of the Second Life Coast Guard, and some well know aviation building groups.
Prior to joining to Irelandia, Captain Greymyst came with extensive aviation experience throughout the Blake Sea and Nautilus regions.
Greymyst noted, "I also enjoy flying helicopters... I enjoy the challenges of becoming a better pilot in each aircraft I fly, and am constantly increasing my level of difficulty in flight, to test my own skills and abilities. Aside from Flying, I do enjoy Djing in several clubs in Second Life".
Captain Greymyst is one the valuable members of our Flight Crew, and will join us in offering the finest in customer service and aviation safety.
